The kits can be used in a variety of community settings, and feature Olympic themed activity stations for families to move to at their own pace. Each station promotes literacy and learning in fun, creative ways, and are engaging and challenging for different ages to learn together - children, teenagers, parents and grand- parents alike.
As an added bonus, the activities are designed to be reproduced in the home environment so families can continue the fun at home. After a one day training, facilitators can then borrow a Family Learning Olympic kit for their community event. The kits contain all the components for the varied activity stations, and you can borrow the whole kit or select specific stations.
